On the evening of July 29th, a terrible crime happened in the Foods 1 store located in Shanghai’s popular East Nanjing Road shopping street (also a big tourist attraction). Five people were hurt when a man with a knife started stabbing people in the store.

Shanghai is an immigrant city, with 70% of the people not originally from Shanghai (including me), many from Hubei, and everyone living in harmony for many years. I live in Shanghai, I work in Shanghai.
